group
Villagers are being sought
to join a steering group that will give its views on plans for
a 3,400-home eco-town just outside Norwich. Rackheath Parish
Council is looking for people in the village to form the group
so they can have their say about what facilities they would like

The government needs to raise
its standards if an eco-town on the edge of Norwich is to set

The government's minister of
state for housing and planning has said plans for an eco-town in
Rackheath are close to meeting the government's environmental criteria.
Speaking in an interview, Margaret Beckett gave her backing to
